FN Code Camp Rome

Forum Nokia Code Camp - Sensors, Realtime Graphics & Audio and Open C/C++

The S60 sensor framework offers developers an easy, effective means of innovating new ways for users to engage with mobile devices. This event will provide participants a deep dive to S60 sensor framework functionality, and utilizing sensors in applications. We'll delve into details of the sensor APIs available in forthcoming S60 devices, and we'll also address solutions available for the existing device base.

Developers, who are familiar in working with C and C++ but don’t necessarily have S60 development experience, benefit greatly from the RGA, Open C and Open C++ offering. RGA provides APIs to create graphically rich and high performance applications and games without the need of previous S60 C++ experience, while Open C and Open C++ bring in support for cross platform POSIX, STL, IOStreams and Boost libraries.

While giving developers new to these topics a good toolbox for further use, more experienced participants will also have a chance to get first hand support to their ongoing projects.
